This page shows my progress in demonstrating the cooperation between my music content knowledge and my pedagogical knowledge.

The first example of my work in this particular area is from Spring 2011 of my undergraduate music education career. The documents featured below include one of my best lesson plans during my elementary student teaching internship as well as the final reflection that accompanied the week that this lesson plan was taught. I would consider this lesson one of the highlights of my elementary internship; it was a lot of fun teaching a song and performing it with the students!

This next example of my work features a lesson plan adapted for three different students with special needs. This showcases my ability to make specific modifications in my lesson plans to adapt to certain students' learning styles and needs.

During the same unit about students with special needs, I completed a case study on a student with special needs (under the alias of "Kevin") whom I was working with during my experience in high school student teaching. I made observations of this student over the course of a month and created this case study based on three broad questions about the student's demeanor and progress.

My next example of my work during my graduate career is a list of helpful websites that I had compiled throughout the Spring 2013 semester. I chose these websites based on their usefulness within the classroom as well as their resourcefulness in building a classroom environment.
